Section Schedule THEA 147 Musical Theatre Dance for the Singer/Actor This course emphasizes dance terminology and basic techniques necessary at an introductory level. Executing basic dance terminology will be the focus of this course along with attention to proper nutrition and injury prevention. Students will apply terminology in basic floor combinations in a variety of musical theatre dance styles. Each class session will include strengthening exercises to improve flexibility, conditioning and technique in ballet, jazz and tap.  No prior dance training is necessary.
